    As a language instructor, what I basically wanted to teach my students was to teach them “how to learn” rather than to teach them. I try to show that they can improve this by practicing the language, that is, by using it in daily life. I think it is more important to “acquire” a language than to “teach” it. Learning by doing is the most basic technique and method in educational activities. Student-centered rather than teacher-centered learning is beneficial for the teaching atmosphere in the classroom. There should be a “transparent wall” between an instructor and a learner, that is, the student should be able to feel comfortable as if there is no wall, but should feel an obstacle that cannot crush the role of the instructor. The teacher should be next to the student, not in front of him or behind him.
