While schools are increasingly expected to offer international perspectives and opportunities for global engagement, many leaders struggle to build partnerships and integrate global learning into their curricula.
This course will guide participants in developing strategic internationalization plans, focusing on European partnerships and integrating international perspectives into school environments.
Participants will learn how to enhance their school’s global profile through Erasmus+ programs, build international partnerships, and create opportunities for student and staff exchanges.
Practical activities will include developing internationalization strategies and exploring funding opportunities.
By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to lead their schools towards a more global outlook, fostering international partnerships and creating inclusive and globally connected educational communities.

Day 2 – Planning, global competence, and school engagement

- Practical strategies to engage students and staff in global learning opportunities;
- Logistics of exchange programs and international collaborations;
- Promoting internationalization in your school community.
Day 3 – Action planning and course closure

- Action planning for internationalization;
- Participants finalize their strategic internationalization plans, with peer feedback;
- Review of the key takeaways from the course;
- Course evaluation: round-up of acquired competencies, feedback, and discussion;
- Awarding of the course Certificate of Attendance;
- Excursion and other external cultural activities.
