Conflict Management, Emotional Intelligence and Bullying Prevention

Table of Contents

Description

This course has been created for teachers who want to understand group dynamics and how they affect the classroom. The tensions, alliances, and relational struggles among students can interfere with learning and create an unfavorable school environment.

Participants will learn about the various types of conflict and how to use them as an opportunity for growth. Through hands-on, practical activities that can be immediately used in the classroom, participants will increase their own ability to model and encourage active listening, empathy, and emotional literacy among today’s students – and tomorrow’s active citizens.

By the end of the course, participants will enjoy a greater awareness of their students’ emotional needs and behavior and will have the skills to promote stronger classroom relationships and a more positive climate in school – for teachers and students.

Participating in this Europass Teacher Academy course was a really worthwhile and valuable experience for me. Very interesting course content and excellent cooperation and communication with the Teacher Academy staff, who are always supportive and helpful. I enjoyed most the cooperative activities in trans-national groups of participants, the relaxed teaching and learning environment, and the effective cooperation between participants in a friendly atmosphere.

This course surpassed all my expectations. The Teacher Trainer is a native speaker of English and a highly professional, experienced, and dedicated tutor. We were a very diverse group but thanks to her expertise, this became an asset, and we all learned a lot from each other as well. The course in Florence was a truly wonderful and memorable experience.

The course was very interesting and interactive presented. We have learned how to identify and manage emotions, how to manage conflicts, how to solve conflicts, and about life skills education. Our trainer, Marta Mandolini, presented the course in an interactive and attractive way, making this experience a memorable one for me.
