Advanced computer proficiency courses are designed for individuals who have a solid foundation in computer skills. Participants will further enhance their knowledge and abilities by exploring advanced concepts and tools, such as programming languages or 3d printing.

Description

As the educational sector continues to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI), there emerges a critical need for advanced training.

This course specifically targets educators who have a foundational knowledge of AI and seeks to address the complexities of its deeper integration in schools. It focuses on developing sophisticated skills to use AI tools effectively while maintaining a crucial balance between digital advancements and traditional teaching methodologies.

Building upon foundational AI knowledge, this advanced course deepens educators’ understanding and application of AI in education. Participants will be introduced to more complex AI tools and strategies, with an emphasis on their effective integration to augment and balance educational practices.

The course aims to expand educators’ capabilities in utilizing AI, ensuring a harmonious blend of technology and human-centric educational approaches.

Participants will engage in diverse and challenging activities, including in-depth workshops on cutting-edge AI applications, interactive sessions for strategizing online and offline teaching balances, and innovative exercises in implementing gamification and creativity through AI in the classroom.

Day 2 – Balancing online and offline learning

Strategies for integrating AI tools while maintaining traditional teaching methods;
Group activities to design balanced lesson plans.

Day 3 – Gamification in AI-based education

Exploring gamification principles and their application in AI-driven teaching;
Hands-on session: Creating gamified learning modules.

Day 4 – Fostering creativity with AI

Techniques to use AI tools to enhance student creativity;
Practical session: Designing creative assignments using AI.

Day 5 – Advanced AI-driven assessment techniques

Exploring advanced AI tools for student assessment and feedback;
Workshop: Implementing AI-driven assessments in various subjects;
Course evaluation: round-up of acquired competencies, feedback, and discussions;
Awarding of the course Certificate of Attendance.

Day 6 – Structured cultural activities

Structured cultural activity(ies) according to the hosting location;
Learning journal: individual written reflection on the course experience;
Course reflection: self-reflection and review of course materials and resources.

This course uses AI tools as part of the learning experience and may include a dedicated session on GDPR compliance and responsible data use, depending on participants’ interests.
Participants are encouraged to verify that the use of AI tools is permitted under their national regulations and institutional policies before registering.

Participants who attend at least 80% of the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance on Friday or Saturday.

Schedule

Classes take place in the morning or afternoon, at the provider’s discretion. The schedule outlines may differ significantly depending on participants’ requests and on the trainer, who has discretion over any changes. If you want to discuss a specific topic, you should indicate it at least 4 weeks in advance as the definitive schedule will be sent 2 weeks before the course.
