Erasmus is a European Union program open to education, training, youth and sport organizations across all sectors of learning: primary school education, further and higher education, adult education and the youth sector, as well as musical associations, cultural organizations, vocational education and training.
The new Erasmus program 2021 – 2027 will maintain the Erasmus+ Key Actions, with organizations invited to apply for the funding each year to access a number life-changing activities. In addition, the new program has inserted the KA1 Accreditation for schools: Accredited schools will have a facilitated access to KA1 Mobility Grants for the entire duration of the Erasmus 2021 – 2027 program.
Through Erasmus+, your school can collaborate with international partners like Europass, to drive innovation, share best practices, and offer training courses abroad to teachers, so that they can develop their professional practice, and gain new innovative ideas.
Key Actions is the collective name for activities and projects that can be funded under Erasmus+.
There are three Key Action areas which can be summarised as:
Key Action 1 (KA1) Mobility
Key Action 2 (KA2) Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices
Key Action 3 (KA3) Support for Policy Reform
