Description
Do you struggle to respond to your students at the moment or find yourself panicking when things don’t go to plan?
Would you like to stress less and laugh more?
This course is for any teachers who would like to say goodbye to perfectionism and introduce more flexibility, spontaneity, and playfulness into their teaching (and their lives).
This course will introduce participants to improvisation skills which will empower them to be more present in the moment, embrace mistakes as a fundamental part of learning, and rediscover the joy of playful experimentation and creative collaboration.
During the course, participants will learn the principles of improvisation and apply them in daily workshops focusing on presence, playfulness, embracing mistakes, and building creative confidence.
The course will be very physical and practical with a lot of creative collaboration.
Through discussion and reflection, participants will examine their own teaching style and create strategies to apply improvisation skills in both their professional and personal lives.
They will also plan ways to implement improvisation principles and activities in their own classrooms.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to confidently implement the principles of improvisation to enhance their teaching and become more present, spontaneous, flexible-thinking educators.
They will also be able to design their own improvisation games and activities to create a more connected, playful, energetic classroom.
